Pterosaur 05:32
Arise you great behemoths Sigh for the restlessness to come, to change your world Awaken from your telluric slumber Greet the new dawn of your winged civilization Spread those wings Take the air Your time has come To reach new heights Above all Behold your vast empire, an earth still forming, To be brought to potential, for you to mould, for your taking No other such being has come before you To wield such power, the apex of history Spread those wings Take the air Your time has come To reach new heights Above all An era You domine Reign in the skies For all time Pterosaur Embrace your throne, adorn your crown Take your sovereignty over the gravity bound Your rule of the great reptiles is one of destiny No creature will ever scale your range The zenith of the aerial, you were born to take the peak To create the greatest society, to stretch your wings and take flight

Break it down into its parts, unfold its secrets Splayed open for all to see, to process and understand Digest its magic, its hidden inner workings To unconceal its core, and reveal its qualitative being Unearth the hidden method laying silent behind the voice Count the rhythmic spasms, bring order to the sphere of chaos Make sense of disharmony, bring life to dissonance Simplicity conjured from the depths of madness, foundation within oddity Archeologists of sound, we find structure in anarchy Converse with Apollo and Dionysus Revelation in what has been done Divination of our idols’ works We read, we take, we study to learn We shift the image to form our own We analyze from those revered We wear these structures on our sleeves in undying praise

Those eyes who view in violence Slashing and subdividing unity A petty ignorance they cling to Only surface values do they believe in Whining, crying, always complaining They move in idiocy Yelling, screaming, never listening No thought behind their tongue Blaming, hating, ever dividing A vacuous bigotry They all are cankers upon life Domine of the weak, they congregate En masse to spew their vitriol Ejecting venom from every pore like viruses bursting, Suppurating their disease Unstable, off balance, leaning to the right Sickened, rabid, infecting the weak with their blight Deaf to reason, blind to shame Stuck in an endless bog of ignorance Backwards in thought, broken inside Sequestered from all rationality They all dwell in caverns of hate Impurity they decry, segregation their goal To further distance themselves from a global community They languish in other, wither in culture Yet are unable to see their own void from humanity

Feel it quaking within your bones, reverberating, trembling, a seismic force pulsing in calcium, rooted deep within Poised to rattle throughout the core, dismantling living rigidity, to send us hunching, defeated, down to our broken feet Coursing throughout each our skin, like a maddening troupe, the voracious ravagers of youth whose sole aim to bring decay, dissolve the internal structure Breakers of elasticity, of regeneration and function, creators of valleys and deformity, the destruction of our outer image A cellular revolt, coups d’état aimed against the host, dismantling Conspiring with time to erode the system of our being, a steady decline through life We all are finite baggage, brought into this world only to expire, our immanent perishability a core component of our being, the telos to our embodiment Created to self-destruct, internal masochist, the body knows only a creeping death, always poised to thwart the denial of temporality, accepting the limits of the flesh to our lived detriment Degradation of memory, the blind firing of broken neurons, a loss of meaning, an absence of stability in the mind Rampant confusion, madness, bereft of words, a relapse to infancy, stripping us of all our prowess, leaving us to quiver in senility

Loom Weaver 07:33
Weaving through every life an unforgiving yarn Its tendrils wrapping and coiling, seizing all in its path A fabric dark, bereft of any inclination of hope A string of woes and depression always looking to imprint The shuttle dancing across our lives, picking away, turning us inside out, raising up from our depths the monsters laying in darkness The warp and weft of our many states, a constant flux between health and disease, uprooting and removing all sense of equilibrium I watch – I sew demise I ruin all lives – I the loom weaver Presiding over your life as if threading destiny, a crafting demiurge of negativity, a seamstress of only wicked cloth Following schemata made only to damn, a blueprint for misery and anguish, it weaves stress into the flesh, branding us with its mission Tireless it feeds the machine, each strand a day, each pattern a life to curse With every pass we are battened down by disappointment and tragedy, removing our lofty ambitions and miring us in defeat We cannot escape this crippling tapestry Our lives will always be woven in misery We are forever intertwined in its gloom Our being the unending thread to its loom Tangled within its creation we are held prisoner to its desire - its need to blight life Weaving, looping us back and forth it toys with our triumphs and agonies, delights in our strain Stitched into this lived textile hell; we enslaved to its chosen patterning, a device of fate The loom weaver our demon of demise

Lumbering onward, encircling, repeating Trampling down on old tracks with each step A wheel of regret, of memory Coiling around ad nauseum The crack of bones, trembling, shaking Straining beneath the unbearable weight Quaking legs, hunched back Plastered grimace beneath tightly shut eyes that still see Our past mistakes weigh us down Barreling upon us at any moment Anxieties and challenges strapped to our backs Steadily crushing us beasts of burden Roaming, searching, never ceasing We are strung up, forcefully dragged along Saddled, mounted, bound and broken We are hobbled, each claimed by our past This old body sunken and ruined Years of stress deforming its shape Horrible in stature, always near collapse Forever we carry our past transgressions

Steps 06:48
The slow trudge of progress digs its claws into all, bracketing the impatient, cursing the needy, freeing us to embrace temporality Crawling practice, moored in time, drawing from us the want to perfect without input, to create without spark all that we idolize Nothing comes to us as a whim, no blink will bring about rest, there is no solace available in wishing for the end Agony in repetition, madness in the cycle of rhythm, we burn ourselves in the name of ability Embrace the aches that are to come Feel the lashing pains of work Conjoin with the unending frustration Take that first step Cycles of praxis, unending torment, wracking of failures, mind and body in disconnection You don’t add measures before taking a count You can’t succeed just by sitting around You cannot master before being an apprentice You can’t run a marathon before taking a step Life can take its toll, time can run out We can become drained of initiative But there can be no excuse on the path to mastery Only those who take each step despite the bedlam surrounding Can see the path to their own success

Chicxulub 14:59
Fall down you once great beast Embrace the ground Feel your cold earthen grave Where you will forever lay What was such strong genealogy Now depleted and dwindling Those cries heralding supremacy A simulacrum of what once was your rule O giant pterosaur What atrocity you’ve faced Your reign has become Of decay and erosion Mighty behemoth of the skies Dwelling now along the land Once feared from below Now crippled in defeat Raise that beak toward your past domain Look to the skies to see your fate Watch that burning death approach The augur of your extinction Hidden among the blasted earth Cloaked beneath the pyroclast Your once vast empire Now lay in complete ruin How foolishly you assumed That you were the last to come Your hubris the cycle Rooted in all the living How quickly we forget We all equal to nothing Within your species’ collapse Hear the sigh of dying history
